Got bored so I decided to suggest a hero I've had in my head for awhile, though modified since I doubt DC wants to make Shape-Shifting triggers for the original version.
Most of his "change" skills can be done with a modified Avatar skill that is toggled.
All skill stats are based on final level.

::The Shifter::

Description :: After escaping the void through a rift in space, the Shifter has arrived in the Plains of Medea. A being with complete control over all molecular functions in his body, the Shifter can assume many forms to help him gain dominance over his opponents.

Model :: Peasant

Main Attribute :: Intelligence

:: Skills ::

Buff Form - Using his molecular control, the Shifter accelerates muscle growth in his body and really bulks up, but slows his movement and lowers his defense.
(Male Villager x2.5 size) 145% damage, -30% AS MS and Armor, Gains Powerful Hits (10% for X2.5 Str damage) and Charge (Blink to enemy, X4 str Damage, Must be away from enemy.)

Crystalized Form - Turning his skin into diamond like substance allows the Shifter to take heavy blows with ease, and shrug off most magic. But his movement and power are severely restricted in this form.
(Granite Golem x2 size) 160% armor, -70% MS, -40% AS, -50% damage, Gains Resistant Skin and Crystal Shard (X1 Int damage stun for 4 seconds)

Ranged/Energy Form - Turning into pure energy takes much of his focus, but the benefits can't be denied.
(Voidwalker No size change) +500 range, 100% Damage, 75% armor, Gains Energy Siphon (Strong mana burn) and Overcharge (X1.5 damage for 10 seconds, but loses 5% of health per second.)

Regeneration - Having complete control of his body allows the Shifter to heal from the most grievous wounds, but he's incredibly vulnerable while healing.
(Heals 100% of health over 20 seconds, but freezes hero and he takes 500% damage. Can't be interrupted, Only be used in base form)

Also I know it most likely won't be used, but I can hope. lol

Nicely organized..but I don't see this being a new hero :/

There maybe a hero that has one of these skills...or a modified versoin of it cool

When faced with two choices just simply flip a coin. Not because it settles the question for you, but because that one second it is in the air you suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Yeah I figured, but had to put it out there.

There's only one map with a good Shapeshifter character. And even that one could have been better.

It sounds nice, and yeah it's well put together too. It's just, it sounds like 4 skill points and he's done for skills....
Will it take more than 1 point to max the forms, and will you have to learn the form spells too (with more skill points)?

Yeah it would take more than one point. I figured probably 5 each, gaining the form skills at 3 and 5. Or stronger versions of it.
Like Buff Form could be;
Lvl 1 - +109% damage, -6% AS MS and Armor
Lvl 2 - +118% damage, -12% AS MS and Armor
Lvl 3 - +127% damage, -18% AS MS and Armor, Gains Charge
Lvl 4 - +136% damage, -24% AS MS and Armor, Charge
Lvl 5 - +145% damage, -30% AS MS and Armor, Charge, Gains Powerful Hits

Or more levels and just takes a really long time to max it. +300% damage on Buff Form Max anyone? (You'd need level...oh...say......900 to get it that strong? Remember-it's only based on stats, so +3x damage doesn't help +1m damage from an item :P)

What's his +/-%damage when he's in "Normal Form"? (Spell resist, etc)

Im kinda really liking this shifter hero lol.

Instead of making it getting +300% damage from stats, sicne that would be hard to balance, i would jsut make it a fixed amount like pr.

Eg.(random values)
Buff Form - +4,000,000 damage, -200,000 armor, 200% damage taken
Crystal Form = -7,000,000 damage, +760,000 armor, 70% damage taken, -20000% attack speed(I think chatoic hurricane is 99999%.... yeah its hard to reduce your attack speed at high levels)
Regenerative Form = -7,000,000 damage, -400,000 armor, 1,000,000 regeneration, 300% damage taken
Ranged Form = 700 range, +2,000,000 damage, -100,000 armor, 110% damage taken

I kinda like those values....but the 1m regen seems a little low....lol. If he had 1m strength (Lexium is most of that...) he has 50m+ health...and with -400k armor he'd have kinda low life span (or is it just me)

The base form would be probably be 80% damage and armor.

Yay DC likes my idea! I feel all bubbly inside! Though I still doubt it will get used.

Yeah all mine were just to help pitch the idea and stuff. And I really believe in having the form skills in there too. To give it a little more flavor other than, Damage form, tank form and ect.

Quote (darkchaos)
Regenerative Form = -7,000,000 damage, -400,000 armor, 1,000,000 regeneration, 300% damage taken

Oh and that was actually just a spell that could only be used in his base form.

Yeah...I agree with DC.....a "regen form" sounds a bit nicer than "heal me and pause me for 15s"...because Regen Form you could use anywhere-the "heal me and don't let me die you dumb thing" would only really be used in a safe place, and the main safe place is town, so why bother using it when you can just heal at the fountain?

True. This was a character idea I've had for a long LONG time and that was just one of the things I had on it. And honestly if DC decides to use it, he can change it to how he wants as long as it has the same concept.
