Heavy PF weapons give Strength, no?
Savior has a skill based on how much Strength you have, no?

Then why does Savior have Short Sword PF instead of Heavy?
I suggest it gets changed to Heavy instead of shortsword.

its because hes ment to save people by getting to them quick and slay the enemy quickly

cant do that with fullplate so he has plate

cant do that with heavy weapons because it would slow him down smile

Fullplate doesn't give the strength bonus Plate does, but Heavy gives strength while Short Sword doesn't....

he's a savior of the people so he needs to be quick and light but still able to kill.

That's what Blink is for. Get from corner to corner on the normal map in like 7-10 casts, without normal moving.
And Thunder Clap can kill, and WOULD be stronger, but his weapon sucks for him!

Plus, if there's anyone nearby with a Command Aura (and apparently he's affected by Trueshot aura...probably a bug...) would give him a much larger boost if he had Heavy instead of ShortSword.

Random: I might be fine with shortsword if I get to call it SS....SC1 map reference....lol

but it interferes with the storyline of the savior if it changes to heavy D:

the storyline doesn't really take account of his abilitys. just that he protects the weak and he wants to destroy all the evil of the land. o.o

If he's really any good he can run around the Forgotten base with Legion and Thanatos locked in an epic dual...in his pants....with Azazoth's Spine as his sword....and without attacking anything but the base, win. Alas we can't wield Azazoth's spine as far as I know (which would be kinda weird tbh lol, but TOTALLY AWESOME!) and Thana never duals Legion-another shame, I'd love to see the winner (guessing Legion though)
Storyline could still be accurate, if he's strong enough he could move a heavy sword like it were a short sword with all of his strength. If you wanted really fast he'd go Dagger and Leather, but he's still a tank to some and needs the strength. Thus the Heavy weapon.

well hes a warrior so he uses plate for protection

shortsword are the basic weapons for a warrior

he needs to be able to take hits and do damage while still being fast.

so plate/shortsword makes perfect sense >:(

Normal plate keeps him moving fast, while heavy weapon keeps him hitting hard. If he's got enough muscle he can just move it like it were a short sword, and Heavy would help his muscle :P

Any links? Besides, such a minor detail could be easily changed.
And does it specifically say SHORT SWORD, or just his sword? His sword could be his default sword model or a heavy sword.

And the same applies for PR/Bows, too.

The crux of the matter is that short swords and bows do not give stats.

For that matter, I don't recall them giving anything to make up for not having stats (more base damage is not an excuse; the stats usually make up for the base damage). I mean, sure, evasion isn't that great with low percents, but at least Chain gets evasion compared to Full Plate, for example.

So unless they're getting some other non-negligible beneficial effect, they should probably have their damage reduced and some stats added. Maybe not as much as Daggers/Heavy/so on, but they should still get something.
