| Here are some Japanese words commonly used in the animes:
(brought to you by Hime-chi) 1. Ohayo de gozaimasu! (good morning!... In the polite Japanese way)
2. Konnichiwa, mina-sama! (A good day, everyone!)
3. Konbanwa! (Good evening!)
4. Oyasumi nasai! (Good night!... In a polite Japanese way)
5. Irrashaimasse! (Welcome!)
6. Gomen nasai. (I am sorry.)
7. Doo itashimashite. (It is nothing. ... Or as an answer for number 8 and 6)
8. Doomo arigato gozaimasu! (Thank you very much!... In a polite and thankful Japanese way)
9. Ganbare! (Good luck!)
10. Kanpai! (Cheers!... Representing a Japanese toast during sake drinking sessions)

| I like it, I like it. I did a report for school encompassing about 20 of the phrases I learned from anime that you would need for sure in Japan.

| Those are all good phrases, but you left out an important one that anyone serious about Japanese will need: anadarakenisuru ( 性交する ). Very useful for casual talk, like if you're walking with a friend and you want to liven up the conversation, just ask her, "Hey do you want to anadarakenisuru?" Any japanglish wannabees will need this.

| @ Shinigami-kun: OMG! I still can't pronounce that word! LOL! Japanese words are so easy to pronounce but in some words, we disregard the "u". Like in "onegaishimasu", we pronounce it as /o-ne-gay-shi-mas/, thus, disregarding the "u" at the end of the word. Same with "gozaimasu". Also, "n" in "kanpai" and "ganbare" is pronounced as "m". @ Kevvin-san: LOL! That's one funny info you got there! LOL! But seriously, would you say that to a Japanese? You might have your chest sliced off by a katana! LOL! To those who'd like to know what Kevvin-san really said... "Anadarakenisuru" means "to f*c*"...  @ Akola-san: We add "de" before the word "gozaimasu" to emphasize politeness. It's more polite and formal that way...
