@ Mina-san:
I don't know about other places, but that pick-up line absolutely won't worked on people here in our place...
Or at least, that's what I have observed...

@ Akola-san:
Nihon-jin desu ka? (Sorry if I couldn't type in Hiragana or Kanji or Katakana, my PC wasn't bought in Japan...)

Here are some more fun Japanese lines: (brought to you once again by Hime-chi)

1. Etari! (I've got it!) or (As I thought!)
2. Yatta! (We did it!) or (Yes!) or (Yowzer!)
3. Souda! (That is so!) or (That's right!)
4. Hanakin... (Thank God it's Friday / TGIF)
5. Kamehen... (No problem...) or (It doesn't matter...)
6. Shibaraku! (It's been a long time!)
7. Iketeru! (Cool!)
8. Aruaru! (Oh yeah!) or (Cheer up, that's average!) or (Don't worry, it happens!)
9. Sore made... (That's the end of the matter...) or (That's it!) or (Until then!)
10. Hetakuso! (You're hopeless!) or (Give it up!)
11. Kihakokoro... (It's the thought that counts...)
12. Sukiyanen! (Love it!)
13. Kamawanai! (It doesn't matter!)
14. Zamaamiro! (It serves you right!)
15. Kochiramochi! (It's on me!)

Jaa, mata! biggrin

Moshi moshi, Shinigami-kun! Hime-chi is back at the moment so I guess she can do what you suggested...

Douzo (here), mina:

1. Mina-san (Everyone, quite formal way)
2. name-san (if a person is still a stranger or if you're just not that close yet or if you're just afraid to address him any other way...)
3. name-kun (if a person is younger than you...)
4. name-chan (if a person is close to you like a friend...)
5. name-chi (if a person is really really close to you, this works like an endearment and it's cuter than -chan...)
6. name-dono (if a person has a higher status than you in a society or if you regard him/her as a master or a chief or something like that...)
7. name-sama (if a person is older than you or if he ranks higher than you, this a more common way of respect to a higher official...)
8. imoto-chan or gumai-chan (little sister)
9. ani-chan or ani-san (older brother)
10. ane-chan or ane-san (older sister)
11. onee-chan or onee-san (just someone who is close to you and is older than you...)
12. sensei-sama (teacher)
13. gakusei (student)
14. otou-san (father)
15. okka-san (mother)
16. obba-san (grandmother)
17. ojii-san (grandfather)
18. kyou-sama (sir or lord)

Jaa, I think that's about it for the moment... Hime-chi is kind of busy and misses you guys a lot! cry

Lol. I mean, you seriously would like to learn the Japanese alphabet? That's such a long way to go!

There's like 3 sets of alphabets in the Japanese curriculum: Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana.
And there are times when you'll have to use all three sets in one modern Jap sentence.
And each set contains more than 18 characters.
Even I myself took years to comprehend everything. Good luck though! smile
