First off, welcome to the forums. Secondly, pretty much every item until you get to chaos will be the same no matter which character you use. Then when you get to chaos PR uses Bows, MR uses Daggers, and they both use Leather.

Until you get to the boss items level it's just the highest level gear you can equip. 3 weapons, 2 armors, and an open spot.

PR: Glass cannon. Shouldn't need to tank, should be safespotting or have a tank with it.
MR: Shouldn't need to tank, but needs to be able to take a hit.

PR&MR are boring in my opinion. It's just stand in a spot and attack until something dies. I think that's why I like Ele more. Granted it's just cast-wait-repeat, but there's something to do.

Anyway, for PR just spam bows with an armor and safespot everything.
For MR, I've never actually used MR that much, but I'm sure Shaper's method would work here.

And Wolf, I don't know why an empty spot. I guess in case there's competition over a boss item?

I believe the empty spot should be your designated critical item.

Pretty much, or anything that will help you survive long enough to actually kill/farm even if it's another weapon, armor, or something like Chaos Necklace.

Answer's right there Sand. Legion/Satan/Soul/Abyssal can't really be safe spotted. And if you can draw them far enough so you can, well you've pretty much past the point of needing to safe spot.

And the only "new" hero I've played past normal world has been Priest.

Abyssal is very easy to safe spot. There's a base very close by. Get there and have a holy/unholy spirit lure it.

Legion can be safespotted, but it's very tricky and depends where he teles to.

No, Soul can't be safed, but it's not like it's even worth safing. Just stats unless you get lucky, then a lot of stats.

Satan can't be safed and has obscene spell reduce, but any character whose main damage is physical makes this quite easy. Seriously, beat the crap out of him. He's got the lowest health of any Chaotic Boss, though he's also one of the most dangerous at times.

Thanatos is easy to safe, Pure Exist almost easier to safe, and Azazoth is obviously beyond impossible to safe.
