| One Piece, the anime is not as good as the manga, but still very good. The action scenes deserve to be animated better.

| The anime is better in my opinion considering it has nice animation. The reason I'm more into the manga at the moment is because it is further ahead obviously ^.~. None the less, I recommend the anime to anyone who does or does not read the manga. If you want to start but are worried about filler episodes, just pm me and I shall get back to you with the episodes which are fillers; this way you'll be able to skip all the filler episodes that weren't part of the manga ^.~.

| hmms the part i don't like about the anime is smoker looking reaaally weird and sanji being all like.. i'm going to act cool with a candy in my mouth -.- Really it doesn't work as well as a cigarette >_< and captain smoker is just plainly reaaaaalllllly weird

| I've only watched dubbed so far but it's too diff from the manga so im probably gonna start watching it subbed.
Only problem is the number of episodes :P

| Fansub anime FTW...and not just saying that cause I work with some fansub groups >.>. I don't fansub One Piece at all, and I still only watch fansub releases on it ^^;;. I dislike dub anime.

| dub animes are sometime fun to watch to see how weird it is, but if you want the real anime experience, subs are soooooooooo much better :P

| I stay away from dubs. Only things I watched in dub was Hellsing (the first series, not the remade OVA). The voices in the dub for Hellsing actually fit them more since they were British (not Japanese). As for One Piece anime, it lacks the amount of motion that it deserves. They should put more money into it (heh doesn't everything?) and animate it in full glory. There's just too many elongated "non-moving/stand still" scenes where they just want to use up time (which is a fault in many anime series since they usually do not have the same budget as compared to an anime movie). I cannot imagine watching the dub for One Piece.

| I love one piece the anime. The animation gets better as the series goes on and aslong as you watch the subbed versions it's not completely messed up (eg sanji having a loli rather than a cigerette.
