server splits?

is there anyway to fix this problem?

is this host's problem? or the server ? or the game?

anyone knows about this issue?

really pisses me off when i had to remake game for 3 times in a row.

Server splits only happen with bots, and only with more than 3 people. I limit my bot-hosted games to 3 people at all times to avoid getting desynched from the ones I like.

I take that back, I got a desync with 3 people today.

u can get desynced either which way besides 1 person with a bot lol just hope u dont...also when u start CoT i think its best not to attk anything untill daytime when u first load into it

Today I played 8 games.
Games 1-3 were desynced and all the others left so I had to leave too ( 20min timer :/ ). ( but I met Valkier in the very first game biggrin )
Games 4-6 were desynced too, but I got disconnected right away.
Game 7 worked fine ( o_O ), but at some point, something killed me and my base again and again with random lightnings until I quit.
Game 8 was disconnected again like 4-6.

So yeah, it pisses me off too. aaa

heres a temporary solution. if you desync tell everyone in the game to restart wc3. its not the bots fault desyncs happen. its the map code, i know this from being the lead dev in TBR. theres nothing you as a player can really do to prevent htem. but i do know that restarting wc3 after a desync DOES help. also you can desync with only 2 players.

So if I had restartet after the first game, I might not have had 7 desyncs in one day? Good to know, thx KySoto.

so restart wc3 will help reduce this issue ye?
