Just looking for some suggestions. Requesting mainly fantasy, war, sci-fi, drama, thought-provoking (in a intellectual way).

David Farland, James Clemens (very dark), Raymond E. Feist, C.S. Friedman, Terry Goodkind, and Robert Jordan are all some of my favorites.

Thanks I'll start looking for some James Clemens, I enjoy the thought provoking ideas in dark novels.

Well. I don't know how thought provoking it is unless you're analyzing it through some literary theory. It's one hell of a creepy fantasy series though.

I second Feist and Terry Goodkind, very good authors, dunno bout thought provoking but they provided me with a nice escape from reality for a few hours. Also James Clemens has some good ones. I've also read one of Farlans and it was pretty good. Havn't read any by the other two but i might look into it :P
