| off-topic: I do not believe -sama is used to mainly signify older people, but more for like someone of higher status or someone you really respect like a master/sensei (teacher or doctor)/etc. For older people/strangers, I think -san is used. on-topic: Consumption of blood can be through a solidified state, not just biting/sucking.

| off-topic (just clarifying something regarding my own language to remove the fuzz...): Kevvin-san, Shinigami-kun was right when he said that -sama is a respectful way for people older than you.
It is usually like that here in our place... However, you are also right when you said that it is for like someone of higher status or someone you respect like a master/sensei like how I call Valk-sama... -Sama can be used in both ways. But, I'd say that you were wrong when you said that it is intended for someone who you really respect like a master/sensei - we call them -dono if that's the case like the way I call Yami-dono for DarkChaos. On the other hand, for other older people/strangers or just anyone who you recently met, -san is usually used like the way I call you "Kevvin-san"...  on-topic: I think Yuki-chan's sig is just but a manga caricature made purely by the imaginative mind of the author so it's not really that offensive (or something like that). Vampires are mythical creatures and they're kinda cool in mangas and animes.

| A caricature should not imply blood-consumers (a group/culture) are clumsy people. It is like posting a picture of a clumsy driver (with a race attached to it). (And yes everything I post here is sarcasm if people could not figure that out yet). but please don't stray off the topic, retain seriousness in your posts
