The origional FMA series was ok...in its own respect, but as far as following the manga goes, it was waaaaaaaaaaaaay off.

And then, the greatest thing happened, FMA Brotherhood was made, and it follows the manga pretty much to the letter. It's soooo nice and so accurate :3 It's absolutely the best thing that's happened to FMA since the first anime came out. I don't know what deal they made to release the Brotherhood series in full Manga glory, but it. is. awesome.

I'm not obsessed with Cute things......I just like them better then everything else <3

Yes, there are 27 episodes currently released. It's my favorite on-going anime at the moment. The Fairy Tail anime started finally and is off to a good start. Hopefully it continues to follow the manga.

Sasameki Koto is gonna be put into anime as well, and the first episode started this month...just gotta wait for it to start getting subtitled <3

Is this new FMA series that good? I wanted to avoid FMA animation b/c of the first series...(the first half wasn't too bad, but the last half was really terrible).

yes, it is. To sum it up, the original was at about 50-60% true to the manga half way through, then went 100% away from it, changing how homonculus was made and even changing the homonculus themselves.

In brotherhood, it is 99% accurate to the Manga. maybe even 100%.

give it a try, you'll see similarity's in the first 5-10 episodes, and a few after that, but then it starts getting into the real story of FMA

Cuteness is correct. Hohenhein is god ^^;;. Yes Yuki...Fairy Tail is similar to One Piece (story and art). I love Fairy Tail...you should start the anime or catch up on the manga. As for Kevvin...the art on the new FMA is more like the manga. The anime is also airing in high definition so the picture quality/coloring is far better than the original series.

well, if you're not confused enough Yuki, it's basically another version of Rave Master.

99% same characters, different appearances/personality's. Same artist.
