Soloing Aza without Aza gear

| Hi all
I have a level 999 Master Rogue with:
3 X Legendary Thanatos Wings (1 fully upgraded; the other 2 partially upgraded)
1 X Legendary Satan Ace
1 X Lexium
1 X Astral Leather
Obviously it is technically possible to solo Aza with any hero and any gear if you buy enough stat tomes, but I shudder at the time and effort required. So, other than going the insane stat tome route, is it possible for me to solo Aza?
If so, what gear should I use? (if multiple Legendary Thanatos Wings are recommended then obviously I would fully upgrade those that aren't)
What backpack items should I take?
What contingencies (if any) should I prepare for? (I have never beaten Aza, so I don't know what to expect)
Possibilities that I have worked out already include:
1. Scumming the medeans for invulnerability potions (pity about the high cooldown).
2. Buying myself 10 seconds of pseudo-invulnerability with the Darkest of Darkness (again, pity about the cooldown).
3. Buying myself 90 seconds of magic immunity with an undead nation.
4. Scumming the astral creeps for astral agility sets so that I have more armour (the item drop rate for astrals seems to be much lower than for other creeps though).
Am I overlooking any other exploitable common items?
Yes, I know this would all be a heck of a lot easier if I played with a party and repeatedly killed Aza for Aza items before proceeding to solo him myself, but please assume that this option does not exist for me.

| I thought about the avatar soul for magic immunity, but wouldn't an undead nation work better?

| Undead nation = banshees = anti-magic shell = 90 seconds of magic immunity (they also = possession if you want an army of forgotten creeps).
However, magic immunity still doesn't solve the problem of Aza's physical attack. How can I survive long enough to kill him? What gear should I use? What backpack items should I prioritise?

| I have no need for it. I'm just pointing out that banshees have that ability, as they do anti-magic shell.

| Yes, I know I can use mass stat tomes. I made that very clear in my OP.
Is it possible to solo Aza WITHOUT Aza items or mass stat tomes?

| How much extra stats are we talking here? 1K? 10K? 100K?
I am assuming just STR and AGI given that I am playing a MR.

| 100 plat worth of stats seems kinda puny.
10K gold = 1 tome = 25 stats.
So 1 plat = 1 mil gold = 100 tomes = 2.5K stats.
100 plat = 250K stats.
That seems pretty insignificant for the time and effort involved. Surely it would be quicker and easier to yield better results with items?
