| hey not sure if this is on forums but my friend and i play LAN when he brings his laptop over and when we go play online he cant seem to load his char i was thinking its just that you cant save/load while not connected to the internet please resond when you can i'd like to just know so we wont waste hours of our time playing offline in LAN

| Internet is nothing to do with it. Usernames need to be the same. I don't know about upper/lowercase, but I know order of characters doesn't matter. ('Sandman366' could be loaded by 'andSam366n'.)
Otherwise, the only thing is if it's using single/multiplayer save system. As long as the game registers 2 people, you get a code when you save. Doesn't matter if BNet or LAN or otherwise - if WC3 registers more than a single player, codes are enabled. (I mention this because if alone, saving to a code is disabled.)

| Yeah, something was probably wrong with the code.
What do you guys use? Write it down with paper? You should probably use a text (.txt) file, then you can just ctrl-c/(-load )ctrl-v into WC3.
