I'd say get to 500 if you can for the boost, it's useful, but unfortunately not THAT strong. Get stat items (chronos stone, iron golem fist, tome to about 10k base int), Savior armor (I had mine until i got like, Hell Cape, level 675 if I remember right), Broken Gods Scepter, and have anything else to boost Int a lot. If you want try to use the Medean Curse, it can help with the -1K armor. Get no base, focus on Deis, get the aura when you kill her. Get rid of the staff, use the Aura, kill Troy next. Leave Seso for last, and yeah, it'll take forever possibly, but she's nothing in comparison to what's coming. Once you kill Seso, get her Aura (backpack it, you shouldn't need it for now.) If you can kill Goddess of Love, get her aura, then go back to town and try to make the Aura of the Gods.

If you can accomplish this, save, and join a new game. You'll probably want another Aura of Life to replace something, if nothing else, the Chronos Stone. (If you want to keep Omega P's Pick, I'd advise against it. I believe they got rid of the bash, which was half of it's use.) Minotaur's Axe can be useful, but isn't really for the Dark Summ. If you want, I could help you out. I'd get you set up with some Chaotic stuff, and try to level you.

Unfortunately, the Dark Summoner's summons have no crits. I've asked a couple of times on the forum here for some, but I don't think anyone has even looked at my request(s) yet. It seems like an awesome DPS, and it can train itself alone early on, but by Chaotic it's basically useless because it's critless. (Yet I got myself over level 900, I could help you if you want.)

Dark Summoner looks like a DPS until later one it is more of a tank role, no crits, so very (very) slow DPS. I myself level 900-910 take like 5-10 mins to kill Thana, possibly due to not having Legion Staff, but I prefer Legion Ring. Can't have both due to bugs, and I should hope the bug would be fixed in next version, which is taking unusually long (since previous updates have been twice a week it seemed.)

Anyway, on topic, yes, DS is crap right now. No, it probably wasn't meant to be this crappy. But it is still a map where you should have a team. Also, don't be shocked if you can't kill God Slayer. He isn't the God Slayer for nothing, so he is so very hard, give him Divine Shield and I'd call him rigged (esp for normal world boss), so you should just skip him until you have like, Despair items (as a DS anyway.) Getting showed up by Dark Savior is kinda sad though, his best things are his Savior Armor and his rain of fire like spell.

(Anyway Dinua, if you want, I could help you get some stuff/levels. Yeah, I'm nearly triple your level, and I still take a while to do much damage. A PR of half my level could probably do as much if not double my DPS. What server you play on?)
