| help me 
i discovered why i cant host anymore (problems with bot)
i have 2 routers
comcast replaced their modem with another router (whyyyyy?!!?)
the only problem is that i cant set up a static ip address for their router...i dont know how =/ besides paying for comcast buisness class >.>
SOMEONE HELP ME >:O JUST TELL ME HOW TO SET UP STATIC IP ADDRESS FOR SECONDARY ROUTER!! >:(

| Why do you have 2 routers? Can't you just use one of them?
Just have it so they both forward WC3 ports to the comp. Or to comp via the other router (set one of them to forward those ports to the other router, and it forwards to comp)
Solve mah stupid anagrams already and I'll help more. Seriously just google them already! It's stupid how long you're dragging this on.....

the comcast one is a modem/router
so it connects to my normal linksys router, if one goes down they both do >.>
i cant forward any ports of any kind on comcast router because i need a static Ip
or so it says >.> donno why i need one >.>

| That sounds like the dumbest router in the history of mankind.....because usually they give dynamic IPs. (DCHP&such, or whatever it was....)
Show some screenshots of what the stupid thing looks like because why it would need that I can't understand.
Or try um.....
um....
Find what the linksys has as an IP, and then have the comcast forward whatever ports you need to it, then have linksys forward to computer.
Why can't you just use only the comcast one?...unless one is for wireless or something that just seems silly....

thats what happens when i try to do anything with ports on comcast >.>
i had the linksys one perfectly set up before comcast screwed it up >.<
since comcast is my secondary router it goes (linksys--->comcast--->computer)
so..... yea >.>

Then from comcast to computer.
And hello?! Why are you forwarding from the middle of the chain to the front door, when you need to get the guests inside first....?!

Uhh....okay, think I might see part of the problem....
You say it's linksys->comcast->computer.....yet you're trying to forward the linksys straight to the comp.....
You've gotta get the linksys to forward to comcast, then the comcast to the computer.
And something tells me this is going to be VERY confusing because of the IP you're at to control comcast router (68.49.119.65)..............
Okay so if you were something in the Internet trying to look at your computer, what's the first thing it runs in to? Linksys, comcast, or computer?
You said it's the linksys, so that has to forward to the comcast router, which then has to forward to the comp itself. The problem is going to be looking up all the silly IPs because of it being a chain....
(PS: Go on BNet so we can talk so much faster lol)
