hmmm I always thought bnet doesn't matter for custom games at least. bnet is only there so you can find others/chat, whereas actual games being played, it's the host that matters. for cot, people always drop out of bnet, so it doesn't matter if your connection to bnet is good or not. it only matters between you and the hoster. The only useful thing bnet has is the ladder system where there is no real hoster.
I'm guessing garena is more centralized for asia? If asain players are connecting to bot hosted games they could be connecting with a host that's across the globe; not too good for a fast connection.
