honestly...the sets are useless either way lol
takes a while to make and they arnt all that good :P
4 sets of astral wont do much considering you can have lex/aza items

(need 999 to load sets i believe)

I personally did not bother using time to farm multiple Legi wings on my PR, although if you have that sort of time, then yes, it is better than any bow other than Aza's. I never bothered with sets, I found them a waste of my time and virtually useless since I did not need them to solo Azazoth. You will replace any and every item aside from Wings and Ace with Azazoth items. No other item, including Lexium Crystal, is better than Legendary Ace/Wings or Azazoth bows. If you absolutely need the armor for survivability issues once you hit the end-game, get a Azazoth leather armor.
Having tested Lexiums stat and damage throughput compared to other end game items, the only use for it is for speed issues to counteract weather changes for farming. Or, if you are an Elementalist, you get Lexium instead of Wings.

That depends on what you're trying to do. For a max damage build, which is what I use to solo aza, you won't use any stat or hp item other than Leggy wings +5 usually. You may use one more if it makes you feel comfortable, but it isn't needed. I'm not exactly sure if it's needed on a PR at the moment as I havn't played in awhile, but I know that only +5 Wings are needed as an MR.

However, if you are into PvP in CoT like a few players are, you'll more than likely use a much higher survivability builds that may or may not use Azazoth Spheres.

If you are, however, one of those players that are into PvP: I suggest saving multiple loads of the same character. Get different builds for your character so that you can use a different build based on the other heros in game, for whatever item set fits the situation best.

to solo aza you (for non updated (some nonupdated**)) you need to mass stat :P

for others (royal guard) just get his armor up some lol

Uhhh yeah you can, and it is 'legit', although TECHNICALLY (read further) no one is 'legit' 100%...
Luna/Maniac has done it, as well as Freak I'm pretty sure, as have I(Solo'd Aza). I'm sure some others have too without not being 'legit'. As I've said before, you just need to know basic information of items in game and what they do, and not fail at backpack item swapping. That isn't cheating, as it doesn't require using 'exploited' items or anything like that. But however, as you aren't supposed to be able to use multiple of the same boss item, I suppose that's cheating. But then, in that case, I guarantee 95% or higher of all CoT players are cheating.

For most non updated heroes, yeah you do need to stat because of horribly scaled skills. There are a few that you don't need to though. Most of the updated heros can solo Aza without statting past the cap, but you'll still be using multiple Aza items.

With no legendary anything, you'll need a lot more than those numbers actually. The main point of legendary items isn't just the stats they give, but the effects( IE: 51% 25x Crit, Etc.). If you have enough money to replicate the stats and damage from items, as well as make up for the substantial crit losses(Assuming you still mean PR), then you can do it. However, PR in general is still a VERY difficult hero to solo Aza due to how less useful he is end game compared to heros like the Elementalist, Master Rogue, or RG.
