Hacked OR GLITCHED??

Ok, so I have seen a lot of people lvl 999 say that they were glitched being level 300 before and suddenly turned lvl 999 i want to know if this is possible in order to not accuse them of anything. If its not possible ill start posting screen shots of them with there hacked char.

It isn't really in a game but he says it happened to him also after he said that there was this annoying spammer yelling hacker but it was annoying so i cropped it biggrin

As for hackers, its case by case and usually it requires some testing of the player's knowledge to determine if they actually played the game very far or just got interested and hacked it. 999 glitching can happen, rarely, but many players revert to a previous save if they enjoy the game.
