Items showing on your character

Right now the only item that shows up is the wings. Why not have all the other cool boss items show up too?
Since your doing class items or w/e...have the ranger's bow enlarge into a composite bow and the tank's shield and armor get spikes or something to that effect -- if it doesn't take too much room of course cool

That much detail would probably take a little bit more of your time too..but doing that would make the game more enjoyable happy

mmmm yup I've thought of something like that showing up, like with class items, like at first they're just holding toy looking weapons when they hold no weapons, then they change into different models wiff different weapons corresponding to the character >_< but for this to work out yami-chi would need to make classifications between daggers and bows, and whatnot >_<

NO. There are 4 things wrong with this statement:
1. This requries me (yes me) to remove current weapons from all 80 chars. That means edit all the models, remove weapons, sheild, offhands, etc. Until the model has no weapons. (If you wonder why I cant just "remove' the weapon in game and add the item, this is NOT possible. You can think of this weapon as "glued" onto the char. By having no weapons on the char, you can code the effects into the tiem itself to show up on the character.
2. It requires me to code every item to have soem effect that properly shows up on the character and does not look disjointed by something wrong with the model itself. For example something wrong with the position of thw weapon on the position of the hadn in the model might make it look like the weapon was floating rather than being put on it.
3. If this is to be possible each char with no weapons/sheildswould need to be a custom model and added to the map -- this is not possible -- 80 models themselves would be way over 8mb.
4. I do not know how to model thus making all of the above impossible.

Have you ever thought of why rpgs that have systems such as this have few heroes? Because each no-weapon model takes up space and every wepaon model takes up space as well. The end line is -- The high amount of heroes within this game make the about suggestion impossible.

There are probably even way more reasons that I can't think up of at the moment that make is impossible. Sorry, but I feel so strongly about this in fact that i will say a huge NO. In fact I feel so strongly about this that this is the first thread that I am closing since the creation of this forum.

Good idea though.
